I found this post informative and interesting. It explains all elements of servos. If anyone was in the dark about some details (like me) then you should check this out:

You are observing my comments, but I found it interesting how you chose to interpret them =)

So what would Freud say about you being able to find "gheyness" in an innocent statement? Guess sometimes a cigar isn't a cigar...

I would make a relevant and pointed observation, but I know and respect the power of the MOD. Moving along...

Wow. That is a nice charger. Between my discharge balancer, and my charger which only charges up to 2s LiPo's I have $125 invested. This thing does all of that and then some... if I ever go to a bigger LiPo then this is what I'll be getting. That thing is phenomenal.

Cool. Did you trade your savage then, or something else?

+1 on the Novak Havoc setup, and I would recommend getting the 10.5. I started with the 13.5, but found that I could have easily gone the next size up for more push. I just got a 10.5 in the mail yesterday, and wish I had started with it. But hey, now I have another motor for another RC, or if I ever do an official race.
The next most important question is do you have a radio planned yet? I felt a pretty big difference in driving and control when I upgraded my radio. Just something to keep in mind...
And grats on getting your own trucks! Now take it easy on me in the mod truck class, eh? ;-)

Ken gets 35c 5000mAH. I have 2 of them and they work well. In this class, you will need to get a 2s (cell) LiPo, which will be 8.4v after charging.

Geek mode on:
can you ping the ip? If not, have you run a traceroute? Perhaps you need to setup port forwarding on your router? Could be alot of things but I would start with the basics... though something tells me you have likely done this already =)

Will there be a club race on Friday or are we scrubbing it this week? Thanks in advance!

So this is one of the google ads I saw below Todd's post:
Lipo Battery Fire
Very good lipo Batteries for Cheap
Also servos, brushless motors, RC

Not so sure I wanna buy lipos from a store who tags "Lipo Battery Fire" for search results...

Is this your track you speak of Ken?

Thanks as always Danny and Dennis... you guys make it happen.

I love how quickly posts on this forum devolve from serious topic to homoeroticism... just sayin' =)

Holy crap Ken, a 78? That's pretty awesome. I suck at golf now, though I used to be decent. I can drive pretty well... that's about it! Though I can't drive RC worth a damn =P

3 entry vehicles to make a class... come on down but to be honest not many folks run nitro... I started out with my TMaxx and am now pretty much all electric, which I think is the case with most down here.

Well then, I wish to remove my previous accolades from Matt and give them to Mr. James Tate! Thanks dude
Posted on 10/31/2009 13:25:24
the race results for the last 2 weeks have been posted! Thanks Matt!

Yeah I am pretty done with nitro... anyone interested in a heavily modified TMaxx, 1 gallon on the motor and only 4 months old =)
