in my 10 years of running with the scca (real cars) we spent most
wrench time just maintaining everything, from bushings to clutches to
whatever.....
it's the most important rule in racing anything, if something isn't
working you wont go fast, if you don't regularly go over everything
you'll have something break when it counts most.....during a race.
with aarons diff it was simply not being familiar with something, diffs
are complicated......i found this vid and wanted to post it for aaron
as it gives a good generalization as to how a diff works....no ones fault, there's still alot in rc i have no idea about.......

i have an onyx 240 which is close to brand new........it will only charge nicd/nimh but will charge 2 at the same time. i need a lipo charger like an onyx 230 or something comparable......
the radio issue i'll deal with later, funds are still a little tight........i ran the losi a little on sunday and got the suspension dialed in........feels like a very solid truck and im going to be quick with it :D the only issue i have is no lipo for now (going to borrow one from danny for this weekend)......should have my slash by thursday too......
uh oh again LOL i just scored a slash via a trade.......when it rains it pours :D danny i'll probably still get yours off you so i can build a mod slash to beat up on matt :D when did you want to straiten out the mustang? next sunday?
thanks guys, i didn't remember the specs on kens lipos.....i'll definitely get some off him :D the guys name was bob...... he has one more of these trucks, a traxxas bandit, traxxas rustler.....all for $125 each......it is listed on craigslist ocala if anyone wanted to snag one...
the losi does not have the threaded shocks on it, but that's easily fixed.....
what type of brushless setup would work good in this?
danny you know this truck.......what is the max on lipo specs for it? not real familiar with them...... truck will take 8.4 volts, but a large 7.4v lipo should work good right? 5000+mAh? 2 cell, 30c or greater?
i love golf.....i haven't played since i moved down here......my drives vary, but i'm a ringer at anything less than 100 yards :D whatever i screw up at the tee i usually make up for with chips and never 2-putting :)
