hey guy's, I thought we had a pretty good meeting the other night. the pizza was hot and the drinks were coldand i got to drive my revo what more could you ask for.Iwould like to publicly welcome our two newest members Bob and Kyle it was great to have themshow up to our meeting and be part of the the new and exicting ORCCC.Our next meeting will be Monday night October 30,2006 6pm in theORS Lobby make plans to attendand don't forget after the meeting we will turn thelights on so you can practice and if you need a good laughwatch me attempt todrivesee ya thenDaniel

YOU MAY WANT TO HOLD OFF ON HAVING THE MEETING ON THE 30TH OF OCT. DUE TO HOLLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT FOR KIDS IS THAT NIGHT!!! I KNOW I WIOULD PICK THE MEETING BUT MY KIDS WOULD NOT BE HAPPY!!!

Thank you, we're glad to be a part of "the crew." I forgot to bring up some stuff last time, i will email you with the topic's. Really just a few questions answered, a few of the guys might want to debate it though.

I would like to join the club, but in past threads people stated you needed to be at meetings to voice opinions and discuss issues. However, I live in Gainesville and with meetings it is not really practical for me to drive all the way to ocala on a weekday nor economical with gas.

Yeah it is kinda tricky getting off of work and getting there by 6.  I am sure you could join at the next race.

My son and I are in the same boat. He just got a new nitro car (OFNA X1crt), and he REALLY wants to race. We have been to the track a few times earlier in the summer, but unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer in July, so we have been unable to attend races. We want to be part of the Ocala R/C community. We plan on sooner or later joining the club (as long as thats not a problem living in G-ville)


Are there any problems using the track on an off day to tune and get him some practice? We are still in the 'break in' stage.

We are actually leaving in a little while to head for some practice thanks to your  post    :-)  Thanks for the quick reply!


Seems like a great day for a few hrs of tuning.
